Cry Day!

I am still alive, I haven't posted for a few weeks as I have had visitors in town, my parents came to visit for 2 wonderful weeks.  But today........it's time for them to go back to the great white north.  My mom and I will cry like little babies at the airport as we always do!

New years eve mexican-texas-washington style

I had a super quiet New Years party at my house!  In wonderful Mexican fashion everyone showed up about 7 minutes before midnight, we all ran up to the roof top and rang in the near year with 25 minutes worth of fireworks from north to south in the bay!  It was spectacular!  After we hugged and wished each other happy new year we then headed down to the Malecon walking!  It was packed!!  Ryan tried fried crickets from Oaxaca......Shonda had corn in a cup and the rest of us drank our dinners!!!!  Today was supposed to have been a beach day but due to the fact that I have to stock the gallery tomorrow and someone on Saturday decided to steal a bag of merchandise from me at the market yesterday (Karma is a bitch and they will be paid back!) so I now have spent the majority of the day working and will work into the night and early tomorrow so I can get it all done before my folks arrive to PV on Tuesday!  Hope you all had a wonderful New Year!  Here's to a great 2012

Christmas at chelow and jorges

I spent Christmas Eve with a lot of good friend! Our friends Chelow and Jorge hosted at their home and Chelow out did herself cooking!!! The food was amazing and the company even better!!!!! Torri, Ryan, Sherry and her boyfriend from Dallas also joined us!~!

The New Malecón

I took the day off yesterday to go for a walk on the new malecon here in PV . It's absolutely beautiful they have bikes kayaks and strollers for kids free for use for the public. Definitely a step in the right direction very excited about this way to go Puerto Vallarta!!!

Christmas Recap!

Little Kamryn Jo Mann came in to the world and our family on November 28, 2011 and we are all totally smitten and head over heels in love with her! She is the best baby. I got to fly on on December 4th and stay until the 15th to cuddle with my girl! Then it was back to Vallarta to work work work and get orders out for Christmas! I know I have a lot of blogging to cacth up on but for today enjoy the Christmas recap photos!!!

Almost home!

Tonight is my last night in Oxatapec..........it has been 26 days on the road and I am ready to sleep in my own bed! I've been to Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, all over Mexico City, Puebla, Cuernavaca, many towns in between and finally last weekend we spent the weekend in Toluca attending the wedding of good friends Maru and Polo. The wedding was great but Toluca was cold cold cold! I am happy to be heading back to the beach tomorrow!!! I have so much to do I can hardly think about sleeping tonight but I know I have to. Antonio will take me to Cuernavaca tomorrow where I will grab a bus to Mexico City Airport and then a quick 1 hour flight to Vallarta!!!
I will give a complete wrap up of my trip next week but for now I will leave you with a few photos of the wedding weekend!!!!!
