Hurricanse season is upon us~!

Well today is a new day and I am feeling much better~! I woke up on the right side of the bed and have lots to get done today! As I came into the office today and was doing my usual morning routine, getting coffee, making my oatmeal, chatting with Danny.........he advised me that our first "tropical storm" of the season has formed in the Pacific Ocean. Adrian is twirling and whirling out in the pacific and could head up this way during the weekend

They never usually come our way but it always make for some exciting times!!!

Yep that was pretty much my day. From start to finish I just could never really get it together................this is pretty much how I felt ALL DAY LONG~!

But.........tomorrow is a new day, a day where I get to make up for all the things I didn't do today!~ Plus I get to go shopping with Sarah and start picking out baby stuff~~Hard to believer little baby girl will be here in 10 weeks~ So very excited for Sarah and Sergio!!!

For now I must sleep, good night Puerto Vallarta, good night Mexico and good night to all my friends and readers in all parts of the world~ Here is to tomorrow and making it a better productive day~

Accomplishment!

So I used to run.......I ran a lot, I ran every day, some days I ran up to 10 miles. Then life got in the way and I stopped running..............for a long time. Well now thanks to Antonio (my boyfriend for those of you new to the blog) he has rallied me and I am back at it! I am in LOVE with my Nike Plus~


I was just informed today that I have passed 50 kms over 31 miles for the last month! Yay me! Little by little I am making a dent!!! 49 Miles........today I will break the 50 mile mark.........Now I just need the weight to start coming off!!~!!!

Sunday Ramblings....

So it's another beautiful Sunday in my corner of the world! I went out last night with my good friend Deana and some others to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs........they are all from Vancouver so it's kind of a big deal!

We ended up at Garbos for a few drinks after dinner and there was the best acoustic guitar duo playing.......I was in heaven~ My morning was accompanied by a small headache!~ Needless to say I did make it to the gym got just under 3 miles ran......I swear, with the head and alcohol still in me, it was all I could get done!

Costco was a complete ZOO today...........I didn't even see it that busy during high-season. For those of you new to my blog, because I live in a resort town we have seasons here. High season here is October to May when all the snow birds are here and the hotels are packed with everyone from Canada and the US getting the heck out of the cold weather. When June rolls around we tend to slow down for a bit before the Mexican national crowd rolls in for the summer vacation season. Tends to be a big slower money wise for everyone. But if Costco today was any indication, maybe it will be a great "low" season~!

Yesterday was my last Old Town Farmers Market of the season! I am sad, I had so much fun selling my collection every Satruday~ The good news is I am now preparing a larger line for whole sale to Mexico City! Here we go, Chantel~Vintage Spoon Jewelry stay tunned for more exciting info!!

I have a movie date tonight with my favorite boy.........my Danny~! We havn't gone out in so long and he is really still trying to find himself after his breakup..........he is such a wonderful person I know he will find someone great.........until then hes stuck going to the movies with me!

~I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, wow....I am back......I've been so buy this winter that my blog has suffered a lot!!! I apologize I want to be a good blogger I really do......but being anal and fostering a growing business in a foreign country doesn't allow for a lot of extra time to blog.......yeah I know blah blah blah....get off Facebook and blog and there would be plenty of time to blog! I want to thank a few of my fellow bloggers for motivating me to keep the blog going!! So yes I am back~ Lots has happened in the last 12 months. I went through one of the hardest times of my life 12 months ago but now I am proud to say after some butt kicking I am back and better than ever. I came back to myself and decided to do what I love which is being creative and I have built a successful business! I am the designer and owner of Chantel~Vintage Spoon Jewlery.....

I met my now boyfriend of more than a year, our first meeting.........I was less than impressed!! lol,

Most of all I am excited about this: I am going to be an Auntie!!!!


This is the beautiful couple that are the proud parents of this little bean!!! My brother Marcus and his beautiful wife Kelsie. They had their wedding here in Puerto Vallarta in 2009


My brother Gavin finally landed himself a pretty suave job in Seattle!! I will be flying up to visit the end of this month! Can't wait to spend a few days at his place in downtown Seattle!!!


and......my mom and dad's business Manntiques is ROCKING!!! So proud of these two, couldn't have better role models and mentors to help me along the way......I am one lucky girl!!!!

Mexico Today

Mexico Today

New beginnings, lots of changes.....

Hello everyone I am back! I am sitting tonight in my office, the lights off, the quiet of the night! So much has happened, so many things have changed and life goes on! I sit here tonight in the silence. I have had friends, family, my love, all kind of people close to me, glued to me for the last 3 months......tonight I sit here along and revel in the peacefulness of the still, of the quiet and of the loneliness. Family and my love are gone for now, we laughed, drank, partied, swam, watched wales, watched bowl games, ate, shared stores, worked, installed dryers, cooked, played cards, took photos, sunned on the beach, celebrated Christmas and New years, watched full moons hang over the bay, went to movies, went shopping, made jewelry, over all just enjoyed being, being with each other and being in this beautiful place.








One of my best friends here just reveled to me she is expecting a beautiful soul in August! I couldn't be happier for her and her partner! Pregnancy is such a blessing and especially for these two beautiful friends! I have grasped and accepted an important part of life in the last few weeks...........Change.......change is continuous, it is always happening. I said to Antonio the other day.... you know it never sticks around for long.........happiness, sadness, loneliness, heartbreak.......it all seems to come and go. The flow of life, everything is constantly in change.
